The internationally renowned Wein- und Landhaus Raimund Prüm, a luxurious 5-star guest house located just five minutes from the historic town of Bernkastel-Kues on the Moselle, has eight spacious guest suites furnished with modern and luxurious beds, a safe, French- Press coffee pot and kettle, flat-screen TV, free Wi-Fi, mini-fridge and a full bathroom with shower stall or bathtub, double sink and toilet.

The vineyards managed by S. A. Prüm are exclusively planted with Riesling in the best vineyards of the steep slopes along the middle mosel.
These vines are situated on a south-southwest slope of the Moselle. The shoots prosper on skew decomposition grounds, called also Devon slate. The sundial which now gives the name to the location was built in 1842 by Jodocus Prüm and originally served to tell the time. However at the turn of the 19th century the´Sonnenuhr´title replaced the former name “Lammerterlay”. In 1954 the original 8 hectare sundial site was extended to 40 hectares and today we have vineyards at the original core of the site as well as within the larger areas around the sundial.

Monday to Friday: 8am-12pm and 1pm-5pm Saturday: 10am-4pm (Nov-Feb: Please make an appointment) On Sundays and National Holidays the vinotheque is closed.

On Friday the 4th of June is the vinotheque opened until 16 o'clock.

We kindly ask you to book a wine tasting in advance.

The historic event hall is more than 100 years old. In olden times, the grain harvest was stored here, including tools and fodder for the cattle were kept under the beams. Today the more than 200 square meters under the attic are a popular place for our annual Youth Wine Tasting, Christmas, Reunion/Family gatherings, and Wedding Celebrations, and many other private events. Even renowned Wine Aficinado and Writer, Hugh Johnson, has enjoyed a Riesling here!

With its very special atmosphere, our event hall provides the ideal setting for birthdays, company anniversaries, christenings, but also seminars.
